Strap Guide – The Omega Speedmaster ’57 Co-Axial Chronograph
Welcome to the Bulang and Sons Strap Guide. Our aim is to showcase some of our most popular straps on a range of iconic watches so you can see how the different combinations work.
The Omega Speedmaster ’57 Co-Axial Chronograph
The original Speedmaster was launched in 1957 as reference CK2915. Omega have revisited that original design a couple of times. Today we are focusing on a watch that was released in 2015 that takes a lot of its styling cues from the original Speedy, the Speedmaster 57 Co-Axial.
The 57 Co-Axial is a bi-compax watch, with date window at six o’clock featuring the co-axial escapement. The vintage inspiration is evident in the straight lugs, brushed stainless steel bezel and alpha hands in the sub-dials. The most obvious vintage element are, however, the broad arrow hands with aged lume that match the hour markers. We have selected a number of our 20mm straps that we believe give this vintage inspired Speedy the edge.
