Strap Guide – The Cartier Tank Basculante 20 mm
Welcome to the Bulang and Sons Strap Guide. Our aim is to showcase some of our most popular straps on a range of iconic watches so you can see how the different combinations work.
The Cartier Tank Basculante ref. 2390
The Tank Basculante was unveiled by Cartier in 1933, as part of its flagship watch line. The watch, thanks to a clever hinging system, was able to rotate through 360 degrees to hide the watch face like its contemporary rival the JLC Reverso. The Basculante could also serve as a table clock too due to the unique hinging system. Our example is a reference 2390 with the high quality calibre by Piguet.
We have selected a range of 20mm straps that we believe brings out the best and the finest elements of this classy classic Cartier timepiece…with of course our Bulang and Sons twist.
Buying your perfect strap couldn’t be easier – click on your favourite combination and you will be directed to the product in our shop, where you can easily check out.
