The Original Clock and Roll Story…
It has been such an exciting year here for the team at Bulang & Sons. We have unearthed many beautiful vintage watches and developed some amazing new ranges of straps and leather products together with our great craftsmen, including the B&S ’Signature’ range. The B&S ‘Signature’ range brings together capsule collections of the ultimate in luxury accessories and is a complete sell-out every time.
We are delighted to announce that Mr Ross Povey (otherwise know as Mr Tudor, or jazz guitarist extraordinaire) is now officially a part of the B&S team. Ross is Mr Bernhard Bulang’s right-hand man, assisting him on the quest to find the finest watches and products. Ross is also the Executive Editor of Bernhard’s incredibly successful online magazine ‘Bulang & Sons’ and he oversees the B&S website content.
At Bulang & Sons we are celebrating the fantastic press coverage that we have had recently and we are delighted to be able to share some of this with you here:
It was a huge honour for us to be featured in Esquire magazine, as part of Sam Truman’s ‘Confessions of a Watch Addict’ article.
QP magazine is Europe’s most highly regarded horological publication. Each year QP magazine host the UK’s largest watch exhibition; Salon QP, London. At the most recent event, B&S were represented in force – Bernhard was part of a panel discussion (hosted by James Dowling) on the ‘Vintage Rolex Phenomenon’ and Ross gave a fascinating insight into the subject of vintage Tudor watches at his popular seminar. The September issue of the magazine featured an interview with Bernhard.
Tempus magazine have published their annual Basel 2015 Special edition which features some significant input by B&S.
Modern Luxury (Dallas) magazine recently had a feature on Lindsey McClain, founder of La Vie Style House. We were thrilled to be featured as one of her ‘Must-Haves’, with our leather straps. We have a growing number of female customers and it is great to hear that Lindsey wears her vintage Rolex on one of our leather straps!
Our friends at The Heritage Post share our love of vintage accessories and items with character and patina. We have been featured twice in their recent issues. The first was an article that we wrote on the history of chronograph watches from the 1940s, which are a growing interest in vintage watch collecting circles.
Secondly, The Heritage Post ran a double page feature on Bulang & Sons and our passionate approach to curating the finest watches and leather accessories on the planet!
